AC/DC’s Thunderstruck is, unsurprisingly, a much covered song. But I don’t think anyone ever thought to give it a classical makeover until the two cellists of 2Cellos decided to have a go.
On a side note, as I was writing this post, Alex wandered in, looked at the video I was watching and said: “That’s the man who sings Highway to Hell.”

Funk Turkey is a pseudonym and stage name of Arkansas parody/comedy musician and producer Kirt Connor who wrote a bot.
By sucking up all of the lyrics from actual AC/DC songs and using a Markov Chain to semi-randomly generate a “new” song based on the band’s existing lyrics.
And then he recorded it.

The article is even better. The town of Staden really has decided to name it’s city hall after the Aussie rockers.
Staden is a ‘cool’ municipality and we’re not afraid of hard rock music!
The location is still a building site at present and the town hall is due to be opened next year. And for those about to build (we salute you).
