2. Definitely a perk but you do get the issue of family members who have largely been indifferent for years suddenly wanting to ‘pop by’ to see the child.

   1. Fortunately for us, we live in a different country to both of our extended families so popping by tends to be a bit impractical 😉

      1. Certainly living 2 hours away from any relatives has achieved nothing so we may have to try leaving the country as our next step…
