About the About

Claudette recently mentioned that she has revamped her About page, which reminded me that my own About page has become rather dated and increasingly irrelevant. So I’ve rewritten it to better reflect who and where I am today.

I really ought to do this more often because whenever I encounter a blog, that blog’s About page is one of the first things I look for. If done well, the About page can give me a sense of who is the person behind the blog and does influence whether I want to start following the blog. This is especially true for more personal blogs where a simple glance at the latest posts doesn’t tell you much.

And, I’ve just realised that I’ve written a Blogging Tip.

This is something I never thought I’d do. On the other hand, though, at this rate the next one isn’t due until 2035.
