So here’s a premise and a half:
Stranded in rural Australia in the aftermath of a violent pandemic, an infected father desperately seeks a new home for his infant child, and a means to protect her from his own changing nature.
Cargo, according to Flickering Myth, is based on a 2013 short of the same name and stars the ever-reliable Martin Freeman as a father with only 48 hours to find somewhere safe for his baby daughter before the zombie virus he’s contracted starts to take effect.
There is something about this that really appeals to me and, from the trailer, it looks superb.
