Appropriately, for the current weather, PCWorld Finland took a look at how the 15 most popular mobile phones in that country fared at very low temperatures.

The full article is worth a read but the shorter version but the clear winner among the smartphones was the Samsung Galaxy SII which kept on going right down to -31 Celcius. If you want to go colder, go cheaper – the Nokia C1-01 and a five-year-old Nokia E65 both kept working at -40 Celcius, which is as cold as it gets… even in Finland.

I know what phone I want next.
